This six-class series held on Thursday evenings covers childbirth preparation, expectations of labor, breathing and relaxation techniques, pain relief and the labor support role, along with a tour of the Birthing Center. Additionally, physical and emotional postpartum recovery, care of the newborn, and parenting will be discussed.
The 6-week class series is structured for people who are taking childbirth classes for the first time.
- "Refresher" registration: People who have taken childbirth classes during a previous pregnancy may enroll a la carte
in selected sessions of the 6-week series for $12 per session. To register for a single session, call (414) 963-WELL (9355).
Schedule: Thursdays, 6:30 - 8:30pm
**Bad Weather Class Cancellation Policy
If you are unsure if a class has been cancelled due to bad weather, you may call the main hospital number listed below, after 5: 00 PM on weekdays, after 7:30 AM on weekends, to find out if a class is cancelled.
