About the Program
Columbia St. Mary’s recognizes the importance of clinical research for its patients and for advances in medical science and discovery. In support of these advancements, we are pleased to promote and  support clinical research by offering a well-defined research program consisting of collaborative efforts between Patients, Investigators, Research Coordinators, and the Institutional Review Board.

We have a strong history of clinical research. Our health system contributes toward research advancements in the areas of oncology, radiation therapy, orthopaedics, cardiovascular, neonatology, and obstetrics. Our goal is to continue to further our research in all areas of medicine, to provide our patients with a variety of research options.

Columbia St. Mary's is committed to ensuring that the health, safety, integrity, and confidentiality of all human subjects participating in clinical research are protected in accordance with all applicable regulations. We continuously monitor our approved research to ensure the safe, ethical, and reliable conduct of clinical research in our facilities.
